We are sharing the same survey with all BIAs and Chambers across Niagara, with the hopes that your administration will complete it and share the link with your membership for their completion.

The objective of this survey  is to help Niagara 2022 understand how we can best support your Niagara’s business community  in the months prior to and during the Games, August 6-21, 2022 through street banners, window posters, clings, website content, etc. This survey will take no more than five minutes to complete.  It is suggested that the person completing the survey is able to make decisions on behalf of your business, BIA or Chamber of Commerce.  Please submit by May 14, 2021.

Please don’t hesitate to connect should you have any questions.  I am happy to address them as best I can.

Thank you very much for your participation!

Kind regards,

During the month of May, United Way is running our annual Period Promise campaign – collecting menstrual hygiene products to distribute to agencies across Niagara. This year, we aren’t able to gather for collections events or hold workplace collection drives, so we have come up with something new. The campaign aims to reduce period poverty in Niagara (Did you know that 1 in 4 people in Niagara struggle to afford period products for themselves or their dependents?).

Period poverty simply refers to when a person cannot afford period products causing them to resort to alternate means to manage their periods. This could mean missing work or school or using alternate methods which could cause harm to ones health. On average, those who have periods, have them for 68 days per year, that could mean a lot of missed opportunities.

You can help us end period poverty during the month of May and also by JOINING US on May 12TH from 12pm-1pm for OUR FIRST EVER VIRTUAL COMMUNITY DAY OF CARING!
